I really hope that this outcome of the survey within Europe by Lexmark will come true. They announced today that most employees believe that we will work from our homes by 2016. A absolutely necessity when we look at the ever growing trafficjams and global warming. We must change the way we work together and transport our goods globally. The conclusion of the survey is very interesting just like some other conclusions like:
-working at home is more efficient then working at the office;
- employees are more productive when they work at home;
- working at home improves creativity;
- employees who work at home do the most in the evening.
Personally I can agree with the outcomes of the survey. But for most organizations 2016 will be not possible because it means a total shift of the way we organise our work and control our work/employees. What do you think about this survey, Do you see most employees work from their homes in 2016?

@Guido, you are right. For now I work about two/three days a week at home. But this depends completely on the customer for whom I do the assignment. Of course for some jobs it is impossible but looking towards the future we almost have to work more at home. What do you think?

FOMO, oftewel Fear of Missing Out, is de term die steeds meer met social media wordt geassocieerd. Jongeren lijden volgens (twijfelachtige) onderzoeken aan 'social media stress'. Kunnen we dus spreken van een samenleving die leert omgaan met nieuwe mogelijkheden binnen communicatie en technologie?
