I found this lecture of about 19 minutes on TED. In the presentation Alan Russel speaks about regenerative medicine. A breakthrough in the medical world where medicines are produced that help the body to rebuild itself. In the presentation Alan Russel shows how engineered tissue has helped a man regrow his lost fingertip and how stem cells are used to rebuild damaged heart muscle,.There are ev en examples of how cell therapy can regenerate the skin of burned soldiers. A great innovation in medicine and exactly on time for our aging population.
Please watch at the fascinating presentation.
