Gordon Moore, the co-founder of Intel Corp, has said that the end of the technology maxim is drawing to a close. Even so close that it will happen within 10 years from now. Moore's Law founded in 1965 by Gordon Moore tells that the number of transistors on a computer chip doubles roughly every two years. This law dictated more than 40 years the pace of change in the technology industry. But like I said, the end is near. Moore (and some scientists) predicted the law's is at his end. The technology industry have made features on chips so small, they're running out of space to cram in more transistors and bumping against the laws of physics.
Another decade, a decade and a half, I think we'll hit something fairly fundamental" that would render the continuing pace of Moore's law untenable (Gordon Moore)
With the ending of Moore's law the pace of technology change will not change. That is what I think and also Gordon Moore.
It's an exciting time,I'd love to come back in 100 years and see what happened in the meantime.(Gordon Moore)
For the futurists, be careful in the future when talking about Moore's law end remember. The law is maybe at it's end within 10 years.
