BMW: Activate the future
De vliegende- of elektrische auto, hologrammen, jetpacks...de mens is altijd al bezig om de mobiliteit te vergroten. Maar wat is nu de toekomst van onze mobiliteit. BMW probeert met 'Activate the Future' ons hier inzicht in te bieden. Vanaf 1 februari 2011 gaat de eerste documentaire The new City live! Kijken dus...online.
BMWActivatetheFuture.com was created to get users actively involved in the ever-evolving conversation on the future of mobility. Over the coming months, this site will continue to explore new ways to shape the future of mobility and will encourage users’ opinions and participation along the way. Dit is de beschrijving van BMW zelf op hun Activate the future website. De komende maanden zullen we hier veel materiaal aantreffen wat ingaat op de toekomst van mobiliteit. Centraal op de site staan 4 documentaires die ingaan op het hoofdthema: Wherever you want to go, the future of mobility. De eerste gaat in op de nieuwe steden (live 1 februari), daarna The future isn't what it used to be (8 februari), reinventing mobility (15 februari) en How we'll learn to stop worrying and love the future (22 februari). Vier mooie documentaires van BMW waarin een aantal vooraanstaande wetenschappers, toekomst experts enzovoort aan het woord komen.
Ik kan niet anders zeggen dat ik erg blij ben met dit initiatief van BMW.
