MessageLabs, a company that provides e-mail security services commissioned Alex Dragulescu to visualize the nastiness of computer viruses. The results are actually quite beautiful in showing the complexities of these viruses. Pictured below is the Parite virus that appeared in 2001 for the first time. The virus 'wraps' itself around all executables it can find on a computer, so the virus runs whenever the executable runs. The other
representations, like the one of the famous MyDoom virus, are just as stunning.
