A recent survey from the Internet Adresbook showed that the Dutch to not embrace social software. This is strange in a country which has the most broadband connections in the world. According to the survey The Netherlands holds a 10th place. Just behind Belgium. Of course is the United States number one. A American has an average of 6,9 social internet accounts. The Dutch have an average of 2,3 accounts. The younsters in The Netherlands have a higher average.
The survey make again clear that the workforce of today in The Netherlands still doesn't use or know how to use the application of the new social web or web 2.0. The generation who are in the workforce of today still remain loyal to oldfashioned media. The workforce of the future embraces new media. I think this will become a problem for the organizations of the future.
I am curious how many online identities the readers of Extendlimits have. A quick scan of mine shows the following list: Google, Technorati, ClaimID (working on it), Hyves, Ziki, Xing, Emerce Network, Secondlife, Youtube, Bloglines, Tagmos and I think I forget a few.
