Recently I was collecting a list of book titles that could be interesting for people interested in the way client interaction will change in the coming years. One of the most interesting books that looks at this issue from both a consumer and business perspective is "The New Everyday: Views on Ambient Intelligence" by Emile Aarts and Stefano Marzano. The first author is Head Research at Philis Research and the second author is the Director of Philips Design. Philips is one of the few consumer electronics giants who makes work of making their ideas public. And they always do a terrific job in this. So, I was to recommend this book to people, but then I discovered the book is completely sold out. Fortunately, the publisher has made and effort to disclose the contents of the book through
Google Books. There you can browse and read the complete contents, free of charge. An interesting thought, it saves an expensive second edition (developments are going fast in this area), but the content is not lost. I applaud these kind of initiatieves!
