Given that the '80s was the decade in which we built our computers, the '90s was when we connected our computers together, and in this decade "it's computing that's everywhere, connected to everything and embedded in everything. And you'll know that ubiquitous computing's arrived when you realise computers have become invisible.
The big losers [of this revolution] are the people who say they don't want to get involved. They're the ones who are going to discover that being a little bit out of touch will have some unpleasant consequences. So this is a revolution where it's not a good idea to be a bystander. (Saffo)

@Willem, het is erg inspirerend en de grote vraag is inderdaad wat ervan uit gaat komen. Maar nog altijd denk ik dat wij mensen te veel verwachten in 1 jaar maar te weinig in 10. Een mooie uitspraak van Armstrong
