Bisceglia is CEO of Motorola on Demand Solutions and recently he shared his vision of the future in an interview. Of course XL reports about this man's vision. Here are Bisceglia seven foreseen trends.
1. In five years, the laptop computer will be obsolete and replaced by some sort of electronic tablet for reading and writing. All the functions performed by today's computer, along with all required data, will be obtained via the Internet.
2.One version of that tablet will be the mobile phone
3.The era of "appointment TV" will soon come to an end because people use more and more applications like digital video recorders and video on demand.
4. Advertising will become more targeted as companies track the taste of individual consumers based on what they're looking at on the Internet and what they're watching on TV.
5. We are at the beginning of a era without Windows. The future tablets won't need an operating system of their own.
6. Everyone belongs to a social cyber circle.
7. Wikis will dominate everything. Consumers will increasingly demand a voice in the development of everything.
