Twitter is mini blogging. Users can post text with a maximum 140 characters. Others can follow your post if they decide to add your account to their personal environment. In the video Stefanie Nelson of Dell Outlet tells her experience with Twitter in a business setting.
Dell Outlet has start using Twitter from March 2007. The last couple of months Dell Outlet has about 10.000 followers. Dell sends:
- Twitter Exclusive offers
- Coupons, only for followers
- Tips and Tricks
- Answers to questions
Stefanie states that Dell achieves more instant interaction with their customers by using Twitter. Dell receives more feed back in this way which is used to guide their strategy.
