Mir:ror, realizing the internet of things

Mirror

Mir:ror connects the physical world with the real world and might become hot!

Jorgen recently blogged about the fact that we are at the era of the internet of things. This means that the things in our physical world really become connected with the virtual world. So a real and fully connected world. Mir:ror might be a small first step towards this world. I believe we might laugh about this in a couple of years because it seems a little far fetched but, like I said, it might be an important first step. See the clip how it works.

Great idea, but I believe, much to earlier. It is positioned as if the market is totally ready for it, as an iPod in a market with millions of consumers with each thousands of MP3 and ugly MP3 players. Nobody will do the effort to stamp their stuff. Whenever product are shipped with RFID’s however, a wireless mirror in bathroom, kitchen or corridor do certainly has a chance.——-

@Erwin, thanks for your comment! Maybe the market isn’t ready for it but I believe this is an important sign of the merge of the physical with the virtual world. And remember that many believed the sms would not be accepted and this also became a huge succes so you never know . It is an inspiring concept!
