Communicatie

Want to make your own TV show? Then you have to read on or visit Splashcast.

We broadcast ourselves via for example Youtube, Google video, Putfile, Ifilm, Break.com, Dailymotion en Myspace and we can listen to the radio via Radiodigitaal. But you can also make your own radio program via Pandorra en Last.FM. It is the user in controle of the content which was in the past always limited by the famous TV and Radio companies. But now you can also make your own tv-shows viaSpashCast. The continuous decrease in pricing for video software and hardware and the rise of the video culture makes that more and more people actively make their own video content. Splashcast is one of the fist initiative which allows consumers to make easily their own shows for web TV.

Spashcast delivers a service where vlogging (video bloggen) is combined with syndication. By subscribing to feeds which interest you Splashcast shows the latest broadcast which come available online. All broadcasts are made by users. So it works just like RSS but then only for video. Splashcast wants to earn money to add advertisements to the video clips. This can be a pity because most users wouldn't like that. At least I think so. So do you want you own TV-show on the Internet. Just visit Splashcast.

For those who blog. Here is a instruction movie how to integrate Splashcast into your blog. Good luck.
